This service aims to teach our participants the skills to move around in the community with confidence and independence. We know how difficult it can be to travel to places where you do not have the right information, about study times to identify appropriate public transportation routes. At Rovada Support Services, ours primary goal is to help our participants develop the necessary skills to reach and travel using public transport.

we can help our participants build resilience. We understand that using public transportation to visit family or friends or to visit you next time can be challenging because of your disability. At Rovada Support Services, our staff donates their time and energy to help you acquire the skills and confidence needed to use public transport and become an active member.

We help with the following skills to improve our participant’s independence so that go independently:

  • Educate yourself on how to identify the proper public transportation routes to
  • the place you want
  • Reading bus and train timetables
  • Purchase or recharge your MYKI card, and how to use it
  • Defining a desired route for public transport

This service is suitable for participants who want to use public transport but do not have the necessary skills to do so.

On the other hand, we also understand that for some participants holding public transport it does not happen in their circumstances. That being said, we have employees who can transport our participants using their vehicles. Any assistance you need for transportation or travel we provide services that will help you align your needs with what you are trying to achieve.
